1. What we collect and why

We collect information only where it helps us deliver or improve our Spanish coaching, ebooks, and immersion experiences. This may include:

• Contact details you enter when booking a lesson or contacting us (for example, name and email).
• Quiz answers and level-test responses you choose to share with us.
• Basic usage data via cookies and analytics tools to understand how visitors interact with the site.

We do not sell personal information.

2. Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies for two purposes:

• Necessary cookies: required for the website to function and to keep you signed in where applicable.
• Analytics cookies: help us understand visitor behavior. We currently use Microsoft Clarity for heatmaps and session recordings, and Meta Pixel for conversion measurement.

When you first visit, we ask for your consent before loading analytics scripts. You can change your choice at any time by clearing your browser cookies and local storage for this site; the consent banner will reappear.

3. Subprocessors and integrations

We rely on a small number of service providers to run the site and deliver our services. As of today these include:

• Lovable (website hosting and platform).
• Microsoft Clarity (analytics and session recordings).
• Meta (conversion tracking via the Meta Pixel).
• Preply, Hotmart, and WhatsApp (booking and payment flows you choose to use).
• ElevenLabs (speech recognition, only inside Spanish for Real and only when you choose the alternative voice check described below).

Voice check inside Spanish for Real. Speaking out loud is always optional and there is a "practise without a voice check" option everywhere. When your browser can transcribe speech, the check happens through your browser's own speech service. When it cannot, you can choose to record one short try (up to 25 seconds); that recording is sent to our server and on to ElevenLabs so their model can recognise the words you said. We do not store the recording or the transcript in this app: we keep only your learning progress. What ElevenLabs keeps on their side, and for how long, is governed by their own terms, privacy policy and our plan with them — we have not verified any zero-retention arrangement. The recording is never used to measure your accent, pronunciation or fluency.

Each third party processes data according to its own terms and privacy policy. We do not control those services once you leave our site.

4. Data retention and deletion

We keep your information only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected: to respond to inquiries, deliver services, or meet legal obligations. Analytics data is retained according to the policies of the analytics providers.

If you would like us to delete personal information you have provided, contact us using the details below and we will handle your request within a reasonable timeframe.

5. Your privacy choices

You can:

• Decline analytics cookies using the consent banner.
• Use your browser settings to block or delete cookies.
• Contact us to access, correct, or delete your personal information.

6. Security

We use the Lovable platform's built-in security controls, including HTTPS for all pages and Row Level Security (RLS) on our database where it stores user-provided data. We do not expose personally identifiable data publicly, and access is limited to what is needed to operate the site.

Security is a shared responsibility: we configure the app carefully, and the platform provides the underlying infrastructure protections.

7. Changes and contact

We may update this policy as our services evolve. If we make significant changes, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
